simo (Kyosuke Shimogori) 1988年大分県出生、大阪府在住。 ペインター、壁画家。 アーティストユニットWHOLE9, SIMIZ・PAMO, KAOMANGAIに所属。 主に自然の中の物質やそれらを含む風景の色や形、光の反射、屈折などに焦点を当て、 収集したイメージを画面上で交錯させ抽象的に繋ぎ止める。 スタイルに固執せず、その時その時に興味を惹かれる物や事象を気持ち良く描く実験を繰り返している。 近年はシェイプドキャンバスに光のイメージを重ね合わせて描く’shape of lights’、 ライフワークとして収集した石を組み合わせ新たな物体として描く’OBJECT’などのシリーズ作品を展開。 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　contact: downgk@gmail.com simo (KYOSUKE SHIMOGORI) Born in Oita in 1988. Currently, he lives in Osaka. Meanwhile, he is an individual artist, he is also a member of the artist units WHOLE9, SIMIZ-PAMO and KAOMANGAI. His focus is mainly on materials, colours, shapes, reflection, and refraction of light in nature. The images he collects are interlaced on the screen and connected in an abstract way. simo does not stick to a particular style but continuously experiments with objects that attract him at the time to paint with joy. In recent years, he has been developing series such as 'shape of lights' and 'OBJECT'.
